Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is one of the most talented heroines in the South and was in the news when she got engaged a few weeks ago. The popular actress will next be seen in a female-oriented film titled Sabari, where she will play the mother of a young girl. Well, the film, which has been in the making for almost two years, has finally locked its release date.

We have learned that Sabari will now be released in theatres on May 3, 2024, in Hindi and all four South languages. Mahendra Nath Kondla under Maha Movies banner. Maharshi Kondla is presenting this film, which marks Anil Katz's directorial debut. The teaser showcases the plight of a mother, played by Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and how she goes all out to save her daughter.

After announcing the release date, producer Mahender says Sabari is one of Varalaxmi Sarathkumar's finest performances. "We have watched the film recently and are super happy with the end product," says the young producer. As per the news, he is planning some interesting promotions in the days to come.

Varalaxmi Sarathkumar played a negative role in Ravi Teja's Krack, which went on to become a huge hit at the box office. She is getting solid offers in Telugu and has also shifted her base to Hyderabad now. We at OTTplay have already reported that Varalakshmi charged Rs 60 lakh as her fee for Sabari.
In many of her interviews, Varalaxmi stated that she has pinned a lot of hopes on Sabari as her character and thrills are completely new.
