It emerged only recently that Salaar will be nearly three hours long in length, meaning that Prabhas fans are in for a grand treat at the movies. The first part of 'Salaar' has been one of the most-anticipated releases for a long time now and one gathers that fans and moviegoers, in general, are raring to see the magnum opus finally come to life on the big screen.

'Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire' is out in theatres on December 22 in multiple Indian languages including Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil

Along with Prabhas, Malayalam superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran too plays an important role in the film. He will be seen as Varadharaja Mannaar, the man who is in line to be the Lord or the ruler of the fictional Khansaar kingdom. However, when multiple opposing forces come in cahoots to get rid of him, he has no option left but to call upon his childhood friend Deva (Prabhas). The rest of the story traces how Deva comes in aid of his friend and how, shockingly, they turn into arch-enemies.

Earlier today, Prithviraj took to social media to share an important update with his fans and followers. The actor-filmmaker revealed that he has completed all the final dubbing corrections for his character in Salaar and that he is extremely proud of the fact that he has dubbed his character in all five versions of the film.

"And what a film to do it for! Deva and Varadha will meet you in theatres across the world on the 22nd of December 2023! 🔥" wrote the 'Aadujeevitham' actor in his tweet.

The cast of Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire also includes Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, Pramod, Shruti Haasan, Easwari Rao and others.

In other developments, it is speculated that another action trailer of the film is likely to be released a week prior to the theatrical release. The core cast and crew of the film, including Prashanth Neel, Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran and others, are yet to get involved in pre-release promotions and the current buzz is that the publicity stint will remain quite low-key. Fans, though, are curious to know what the KGF 2 team has in store and whether, or not, Salaar is based on Neel's own Ugramm, after all.
