Salaar is one of the most awaited films across the globe as Prashanth Neel has teamed up with the mighty Baahubali Prabhas for the first time in his career. The action drama is all set for a massive release on December 22, 2023, and the advance bookings have already started in the US and they are on fire.
On the other hand, Salaar has made news as two young techies have been arrested in Hyderabad by the Cybyderabad cops for leaking content about Salaar online which is one of the most serious offenses in piracy.
After a complaint lodged by the makers, the cops identified two youngsters spreading pirated content of Salaar online. They have been arrested now and an investigation is on to find where they received the footage from.
This is not the first time that something like this happened. In the past, a few videos from the sets of the film went viral on social media and the makers beefed up security on the set of Salaar in Hyderabad.
As technology has rapidly grown in the last few years, content is being leaked from the theatres, and post-production facilities creating a panic situation for the makers. Once the film releases, it has become quite difficult to keep a twist or special appearance in a film a secret.
Salaar has Prithviraj in a negative role and Shruthi Haasan plays the female lead in the film. The pre-release business for the Telugu version has been done for a massive Rs 165 crores which is the highest ever for any Prabhas film to date.
