Despite being released in 1991, which is more than 30 years ago, Salman Khan and Revathy's love story 'Love' is still remembered by audience, especially for the song "Saathiya Tune Kya Kiya." Now, in the epic action drama Tiger 3, which is produced Yash Raj Films, the two stars will reconnect after 32 years.
Recently, actor Salman Khan welcomed his "Pyar Kiya Toh Darna Kya" co-star Kajol on stage during the most recent Shanivaar Ka Vaar of Bigg Boss 16. Veteran actress Revathy joined the actress and appeared with her to promote her upcoming film Salaam Venky. Rahul Bose, Vishal Jethwa, Aahana Kumra, Rajeev Khandelwal, and Kajol appear in Salaam Venky.
Salman Khan talked about their time spent together on the "Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya" set as they interacted on stage. Salman tells Kajol that they had collaborated 24 years prior. He was interrupted by Kajol, who recalled how he had cheated on her in the movie's well-known staring scene. Salman once again won the competition as the pair reenacted the scene on the TV.
Later, Salman introduced Revathi on stage and even danced with her to the tune "Saathiya Tune Kya Kiya." In the 1991 film Love, Revathy and Salman collaborated. Furthermore, Salman disclosed that she is collaborating with him on Tiger 3.
Tiger 3, directed by Maneesh Sharma, is one of the most eagerly anticipated movies in Bollywood. In the third instalment of the Tiger trilogy, which also includes Tiger Zinda Hai and Ek Tha Tiger, Katrina Kaif will reprise her role as Salman's leading lady alongside Ranvir Shorey. The makers have also added Emraan Hashmi and Vishal Jethwa to the roster in addition to Revathy. Shah Rukh Khan will also make a surprise appearance in the movie.
Although Salman and Revathy didn't work together again after "Love," the actor did appear in her 2004 film Phir Milenge. The movie, which also included Shilpa Shetty and Abhishek Bachchan, addressed AIDS awareness.
