Salman Khan is a google of films, not arrogant or drunkard: Gadar 2 director Anil Sharma

Anil Sharma, who is awaiting the release of his next film Gadar 2, spoke about Salman Khan in a recent interview. The filmmaker had worked with the actor on the movie, Veer. Anil says that Salman is not arrogant or a drunkard but instead, a google of films.

“If I am with Salman Khan for four hours, he will talk only about the scenes, songs, and films for the entire four hours. He remembers so many songs, scenes and films. He is a library, he is the Google of films,” the filmmaker told ETimes.

Anil clarified that Salman does have a drink or two but also added that it is quite normal and that the actor is more focused on his work. Talking about their great experience on sets, the director also shared that Salman never spoke ill about anyone ever.

Anil Sharma had also worked with now the global star, Priyanka Chopra Jonas. He gave her the big Bollywood launch with the movie, The Hero: Love Story of a Spy. Co-starring Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta, the movie did not pan out at the Box Office as expected. However, the director was impressed with PeeCee’s humble nature on sets.

He explained how even when the actress was needed on sets for 10 days, she voluntarily worked for two months. The filmmaker believes that like Salman, Priyanka’s focus is only on work and she would never pull anyone else down to move ahead in life.

The actress has now spoken about bullying she faced in Bollywood. He pointed out how she never got involved in the politics and focused on acting so far.

Gadar 2 brings back Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel. The movie is scheduled for Independence Day release.
