The hype has been building ever since Salman Khan officially announced that he would be a part of Chiranjeevi's highly-anticipated Godfather. The latest report is that Khan will be recreating some of his iconic action scenes in the movie.
As reported by the Times of India, the makers want to do something special with "Godfather" since the movie will see two of India's biggest superstars.
According to a source close to the project, "This plan for Salman's entry is going to be an interesting one. His opening scene will have a medley of all his action scenes from those South Indian films which were later remade in Hindi with Salman. "
The movie is expected to recreate the iconic action scenes from Khan's Pokhri and many more.
The source also reveals that Chiranjeevi was excited for the Bollywood superstar to join the team, and he received him with a bouquet and said that it was an absolute pleasure to team up with him.
Godfather, which is helmed by Mohan Raja, is the Telugu remake of the Malayalam blockbuster Lucifer. Lucifer was the directorial debut of Prithviraj Sukumaran and starred Mohanlal in the lead.
Salman Khan was last seen in the action flick Antim: The Final Truth, directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. With Khan appearing as a hard-core police officer, the movie received mixed reviews.
Chiranjeevi, who was last seen in Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, is also working on Acharya with his son Ram Charan and Bholaa Shankar, the Telugu remake of the Tamil action-drama Vedhalam, starring Ajith Kumar.
