Salman Khan has been the host of popular Television reality show Bigg Boss for over a decade now. Apart from his candid banter with the contestants, the actor is also also known for never mincing his words in giving then an earful when they misbehave or use abusive words during the various tasks or when they engage in a war of words while fighting with each other. 

The actor is mostly appreciated for blasting the contestants for their wrongful behaviour but there have also been times when netizens have accused him of going overboard or being biased towards particular contestants. While speaking at a recent event, about the responsibilities of a host in the light of the Will Smith-Chris Rock slap controversy at Oscards 2022 ceremony Salman Khan mentioned that some of the contestants in the Bigg Boss house are quite unprofessional.

The Dabangg actor shared that he is the host of the Bigg Boss house which means that the contestants are coming to his house. He is not their teacher or principal or family member. Talking about the times that he'd end up losing his cool on the contestants, Salman said that he actually does the right thing by schooling them for their bad behaviour. 

The actor said that he reacts the way he does and then goes back to normal and finish it and that he doesn't have anything personal against the contestants. Salman also feels that from the last two seasons or so, the contestants on Bigg Boss think that they know it all in terms of what they need to do in the Bigg Boss house. He further advised them saying, "They should understand that once they are out of the house, nobody in the film industry wants to work with someone who is abusive, bad-mouthed and unprofessional."

Apart from Bigg Boss, Salman has also hosted a game show called Dus Ka Dum on TV. The actor was last seen in the film titled Antim, with Aayush Sharma. He will next be seen in Tiger 3 with Katrina Kaif.
