Samay Raina drops cryptic social media post amid India’s Got Latent row

The "sex with parents" comment made by YouTuber Ranveer Allahabadia on Samay Raina's show India's Got Latent has brought the comedian under scrutiny. Raina has now posted a mysterious social media post amid the legal issues that Allahabadia and he have been facing due to their remarks.

Only those who have subscribed to Raina's YouTube channel in private can see his most recent post. As a subtle way to express love and remain composed in the midst of the controversy, it included an embrace emoji and a red heart.

Backlash and intervention by authorities

Allhabadia, better known by his YouTube channel BeerBiceps, had an appearance on India's Got Latent earlier this month. "Would you prefer to sit by and watch your parents have sex all the time or participate once and put an end to it forever?" he questioned a young contestant.

Many were quick to blame him for what they perceived as the question's impure tone. The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) and the I&B Ministry intervened, and YouTube later withdrew the video.

Samay Raina’s response on social media

In a later X post, Raina said that everything that is happening has been too much for him to handle. This was his second reaction to the scandal. Every video from 'India's Got Latent' is no longer available on his channel. His sole objective was to have fun and make others laugh. In order to assure the fair conclusion of their enquiries, Raina shall collaborate completely with all agencies.

Not only that, but an emotional Raina addressed the subject during his most recent live performance in Canada. On the last note of the night, he said, "Shayad samay kharab chal raha hai mera, par yaad rakhna doston, main samay hoon." This statement can be loosely translated as, "Maybe my time is not going well, but remember, friends, I am time," referencing his name, Samay.
