Samrat Prithviraj: Manushi Chhillar reveals how Deepika Padukone's Bajirao Mastani helped her bag Sanyogita in Akshay Kumar starrer

Manushi Chhillar finally made her much awaited acting debut with Akshay Kumar starrer Samrat Prithviraj. The debutante impressed the audience with her stint in YRF's latest venture. The diva has recently unveiled how she bagged the role of Sanyogita in the epic drama.

According to a report on BollywoodHungama.com, the 25-year-old actress said that everything about her debut in the film about Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan’s life and daredevilry is special. Furthermore, talking about the time she auditioned for her part, she unveiled, "I remember I had the most intense and challenging audition for the film because I was given a scene that Deepika Padukone performed incredibly in Bajirao Mastani!" 

Speaking about the challenges, Manushi revealed that she already knew that she had to do a good job to get the movie. "Thankfully Adi sir, my director Chandraprakash ji, Shanoo Sharma, and the team at YRF were impressed by my effort," she added.

She further added that after the audition she was contacted and informed that she has finally bagged the epic character. Manushi was elated and felt that it was validation that she could chase her dreams in Bollywood if she put her best foot forward and constantly hone her skills to establish herself as a good actor.

The Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi directorial also has Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood, Manav Vij, Ashutosh Rana and Sakshi Tanwar in pivotal roles. Backed by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films, the historical action drama flick is currently running in theatres. 

Meanwhile, the former Miss World is currently gearing up for The Great Indian Family opposite Vicky Kaushal. The upcoming movie, which is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, marks the second movie of the actress.
