Sandeep Madhav’s Gandharwa release postponed by a week, to hit theatres on July 8

George Reddy, Vangaveeti actor Sandeep Madhav’s next film, Gandharwa, was to hit theatres on July 1 alongside Gopichand, Raashi Khanna starrer Pakka Commercial. Earlier today, the makers of the film had announced that it wouldn’t make it to screens as per schedule. Instead, Gandharwa will hit theatres on July 8 and and lock horns with Lavanya Tripathi’s Happy Birthday.

Gandharwa, produced under Funny Fox Entertainments and is presented by S K Films in collaboration with Action Group of Companies. Sheetal, Sai Kumar, Posani Krishna Murali, Babu Mohan, Suresh play key roles in the film as well. Rap Rock Shakeel is the composer for the film and all the three singles have opened to good responses from music buffs, makers say.

The film, directed by Apsar, revolves around an army officer who departs for war duty, much to the disappointment of his wife. However, many years later, an affair between a lookalike of the army officer and an elderly woman is the talk of the town. Many keep wondering how can two persons from different generations resemble one another. How is this mystery unlocked? Watch Gandharwa to know.

The actioner has cinematography by Jawahar Reddy and is edited by Baswa Pydi Reddy. Jd has choreographed the songs in the film and JK Murthy is the art director. Y Nagu is the executive producer. Prominent journalist, producer Suresh Kondeti is distributing the film across the globe. Sandeep Madhav is also working on a multistarrer with Raj Tarun as well.
