Filmmaker Hemanth M Rao has begun shifting gears on the promotional spree of his next film(s), Sapta Sagaradaache Ello, which is coming out in two parts on September 1 and October 20, respectively. The film, which has Rakshit Shetty in the lead, along with Rukmini Vasanth and Chaithra J Achar, is, according to Hemanth, an intense love story, set across two time periods, 10 years apart.
With just over a month and a half to go for the first part’s release, netizens had begun to wonder why the team was not going all out with publicity, even though Sapta Sagaradaache Ello is one of the most anticipated films of the year. And now, it begins. A little while ago, the team announced the release of the first single from the film, with a glimpse of its recording. Called Horaata, the Kannada rap number has been composed by Charan Raj, and performed by MC Bijju and will be out on July 20 at 9.09 am. This is Charan’s third collaboration with Hemanth, after Godhi Banna Sadharana Mykattu and Kavaludaari.
Shot in 137 days, the film, according to Hemanth is based on a script that was meant to be his first directorial, even before Godhi Banna Sadharana Mykattu and Kavaludaari. Hemanth has been quoted as saying, “Back then, the writing had an innocence and naivety to it and it could not be made as a film at that point. Honestly, I am happy that I didn’t make Sapta Sagaradaache Ello then. Today, the way it has shaped up is entirely due to the time that I got to develop it. As a writer, I did not have it in me then to write it as poetic or as intense as it is today.”
Produced by Rakshit Shetty’s Paramvah Studios, Sapta Sagaradaache Ello is being distributed by KVN Productions in Karnataka.
