Recently, the period drama's lead star, shared a dedicated social media post to her strong character based on freedom fighter Usha Mehta. On the special occasion of Women’s Day, Sara also penned a touching note for all the women out there, including a heartfelt tribute to her “favorite woman” and mother, Amrita Singh. The actress also celebrated the Indian patriot, Usha Mehta, who serves as the unsung hero of Amazon Prime’s Ae Watan Mere Watan.

Sara Ali Khan’s inspirational post about women

Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan penned a tribute to women all over the world for their bravery and strength. She also urged them to stand up for themselves, as it leads to a motivational step for others. In an emotionally driven video post, Sara expressed gratitude towards two strong women who made a lasting impact on her life: Amrita Singh and Usha Mehta.

In the video clip, Sara is seen reflecting on the significance of her mother’s presence in her life. She also called her the motivation and source of her strength. "I draw my strength from her; she is my motivation, she is my whole life, and I think that she is very important to me," Sara said while speaking on Radio Mirchi’s show.

Later, the Murder Mubarak actress also commemorated the efforts of freedom fighter Usha Mehta, who dedicated her life to India’s independence.

Sharing on Instagram the video montage, Sara wrote, “Always remember that each time a woman stands up for herself, she stands up for all women. And also remember that bravery and strength come in all shapes and sizes. So just be you. Accept yourself. Believe in yourself. Embrace yourself. And then fly,” followed by a Happy Women’s Day message.
