Actor Sarah Hashmi opened up about shooting Season 2 of Dice Media's Operation MBBS in a pandemic.

Medical warriors who’ve tackled the Covid-19 pandemic in the country deserve immeasurable praise and appreciation. Dice Media’s Operation MBBS Season 2 is India’s first web series which revolves around these warriors in the midst of the pandemic. Actor Sarah Hashmi, who starred opposite Nawazuddin Siddique in Bebaak, retold her experience of being a part of the series. Sarah revealed that a sense of relatability was experienced by her while shooting the series, since she’s experienced the pandemic exactly how it’s portrayed in the show. Experiencing the struggles of India’s frontline heroes first hand, Sarah also stated that the feeling of being back on set after months was a big change. The character that Sarah plays, Huma, struggles with her mental health in the new season as a 2nd year medical student thrust in the uncertainty of the pandemic.
Additionally, the actor conveyed how proud she is of the cast and crew of Operation MBBS for working hard against all odds and maintaining all covid-19 precautions. This experience has resulted in her valuing her work more than ever.

Season 2 of this series about students in one of the best MBBS colleges in India who are striving to balance their lives and their academics has been directed by Amrit Raj and written by Ayesha Nair, Puneet Batra and Dr. Pavin Yadav. Season 2 of Operation MBBS premiered on March 15 on Dice Media’s Youtube Channel.
