Amid the demand for the movie's ban, Diljit Dosanjh's Sardaar Ji 3 teaser is out now. The same appears to reflect that Hania Amir, touted to be a part of the movie, is indeed no longer associated with the film. The Punjabi actress probably got replaced, and the teaser might be proof of the same. Watch it here...
Diljit Dosanjh's Sardaar Ji 3 teaser is out now. It sees him back as the ghost hunter who gets offended if called a Sardaar without the Ji. In a funny twist, he gets offended by the ghosts and sends them to the other world when they forget to address him as Ji. Of course, Diljit and Neeru Bajwa's conversation is just as hilarious, given the chudel reference!
Hania Amir, who was touted to be a part of Sardaar Ji 3, could be replaced with Jasmin Bajwa (last seen in the web series Kanneda). This happened post the Pahalgam attack, when the ban on Pakistani artists was reinstated. Hania was reportedly instantly replaced in the film, but there were also speculations that she is a part of the movie. Based on the speculations, FWICE wrote a letter to the Central Board to Film Certification (CBFC) to stop the movie's release, threatening that Diljit would be banned from the film industry. With the latest revelation, though, it looks like Sardaar Ji 3 release is back on track. The movie will be out in theatres on June 27.
Before Sardaar Ji 3, Diljit Dosanjh is gearing up for the release of Detective Sherdil. The movie will be out on Zee5 and can be streamed via OTTplay Premium from June 20. The story is about a detective who is inspired from Sherlock and Byomkesh Bakshi. He is out to solve a case that requires an expert. The film is expected to be the perfect blend of wits with comic relief.
