A Quiet Place, directed by John Krasinki, is among one of the most loved horror films in Hollywood. The film's sequel released in 2021 and became a hit too. What makes the film a must watch? Everything.

As the title suggests, John has understood that silence creates a huge impact. Thus, everyone and everything is silent in A Quiet Place. That is till there is some noise to scare you. Apart from creating some fearsome moments, A Quiet Place also has a very warm and loving vibe, making it a beautiful film.

The concept deals with a family struggling to survive in a place where monsters attack when they hear any kind of noise. It is ideal and a situation every cinephile is bound to love.

What works in A Quiet Place?

Like mentioned, everything. The whole film goes on in silence. It is just you with your thoughts and no answers, till you get an answer. The first time you witness the answer in the form of the monsters, it is sure to scare you. Not just the first time but every intense moment in the movie and a nightmare coming true, all works to make A Quiet Place a must watch.

The story of a family witnessing the biggest of horrors

Evelyn Abbott (Emily Blunt) is pregnant and about to deliver her baby. In the given condition, she has to do so silently, despite the excruciating pain. Letting the baby and herself survive is a big miracle that needs to happen.

Lee Abbott's heroic moment

Any father will protect his child before anything. Lee Abbott (played by John) did the same. He sacrificed himself in order to save his children. That moment is one of the most brilliant scenes, for it will leave you broken and empty in the way Lee bids adieu to his babies, Regan Abbott (Millicent Simmonds) and Marcus Abbott (Noah Jupe).

The medical emergency

One of the most memorable scenes from A Quiet Place is in the pharmacy. Lee goes to the chemist, to obviously find it empty. As he deals with his hyper and ear-challenged child Regan, they have a near-death moment. Him running with Regan out of the chemist and dodging the monsters is a scene that will stay back with you.

The movie also gave out the solution at an unexpected time

Regan and Evelyn stumble upon the solution to deal with the monsters, by accident. That is where the second installment takes off. However, the threat has not died and the family still has to take off for killing the monsters. Of course, everyone will be rooting for them as long as they don't play on the commercial aspects too much. However, knowing John's filmmaking style, that too is unlikely to happen.
