The official teaser for Chandhunadh and Aparna Das' Secret Home has just been released. The mysterious teaser begins with Aparna Das’ character experiencing hallucinations after visiting a mysterious mansion. She is unable to let go of it as she experiences strange things about the mansion. This pushes her to investigate the dark past of the mansion. 

Set in Kerala's Kottayam region, Secret Home revolves around four people who get entangled in a gruesome crime involving a strange mansion with several secrets. The grey shades of the characters get exposed as the story unfolds. The intriguing teaser doesn't give away any spoilers and promises a gripping tale. Overall, fans are curious to know about the dark past of the mysterious house.

Secret Home is scheduled to be released in theatres on March 1.

Secret Home is based on true events

According to director Abhayakumar K, the film is based on a true crime story that took place in Kerala. “Whether it comes from the police or the media, we typically only hear one side of an incident. But in this film, all sides of the case are explored,” the director revealed in an interview. He added that people are used to seeing good-hearted people as protagonists in movies. But all four main characters in his movie have a dark side. 

Secret Home was shot in 31 locations in Kottayam

Secret Home stars Chandhunadh, Sshivada, Anu Mohan, and Aparna Das in lead roles. Anil Kurian has penned the screenplay for the film, which was shot in as many as 31 locations in Kerala's Kottayam district. The film was canned in just 30 days.

Sanker Sharma has scored three soundtracks for the movie, which has lyrics by Manu Manjith and Hari Narayanan.
