Seeti Maar: What is Allu Arjun's connect with Salman Khan's Radhe track

Days after Salman Khan-Disha Patani’s Radhe trailer was unveiled, the makers are now set to release the first song from the film. The track, called Seeti Maar, is slated for release on Monday, April 26.

To reveal the same, they unveiled a poster with Patani’s silhouette, whistling (the meaning of seeti maar in English). Her character in the film is named Diya, while Khan’s character is called Radhe.

Yes, you guessed it right. The Radhe in Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai is the same as Radhe from Wanted. The biggest example of that is the fact that they are both undercover cops who are deeply involved with dangerous goons.

Interestingly, the song Seeti Maar has been popular in the Telugu cinema since a long time. It is a song adapted from Allu Arjun’s film DJ.

When Seeti Maar, featuring Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde first released, people could not stop talking about it. Soon, it became a superhit. The song had all the perfect elements for masala entertainment - glamour, romance and cameo appearances.

That’s right, Allu Arjun’s song showed us frames of NTR and ANR even called Chiranjeevi and Dhanush megastar while showing their faces on TV.

The music of the tracks have been composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The Hindi lyrics are penned by Shabbir Ahmed. Knowing that the Telugu song paid tribute to NTR, ANR, Chiranjeevi and Dhanush, we are only left to wonder who the Hindi adaptation would pay tribute to.

Kamaal Khan and Iulia Vantur have worked on the vocals, while Shaikh Jani Basha is the choreographer for the song. The Eid release, directed by Prabhudheva, also features Randeep Hooda, Jackie Shroff and Megha Akash in pivotal roles.
