Selvaraghavan shares Naane Varuven poster featuring Dhanush and Elli Avr Ram

Director Selvaraghavan recently shared a new poster from his upcoming film, Naane Varuven. The poster features Dhanush and the film's leading lady Elli Avr Ram in a romantic moment. The film marks Elli Avr Ram's debut in Kollywood and this is the first time that her look from the film has been revealed. Selvaraghavan also stated that there will be an update about the film soon. Sharing the picture on his social media handle, the ace director wrote, "Update soon 😍 @theVcreations @dhanushkraja @thisisysr @omdop @ElliAvrRam (sic)."

The tweet has set off speculations about what the update from the film could be about. Some fans are guessing that a song might be released soon since a romantic poster is out. In a surprise move, Selvaraghavan had shared pictures of Dhanush from the film, much to the delight of the fans. Dhanush will be seen in a dual role in the film. The leading ladies of the film are Elli Avr Ram and Indhuja Ravichandran. Selvaraghavan will also be seen in a crucial role in the film.

Selvaraghavan and Dhanush are teaming up for a film after a long hiatus that spans almost a decade. This is their fourth collaboration together after Kaadhal Kondein, Pudhupettai and Mayakkam Enna. Music for the film is by Yuvan Shankar Raja. OM Prakash and Bhuvan Srinivasan have handled the cinematography and editing respectively. RK Vijai Murugan is in charge of the art direction and action choreography is by Dhilip Subbarayan. The film has been bankrolled by Kalaipuli Thanu under the banner of V Creations.

In the meantime, Dhanush is basking in the success of his recent romantic drama, Thiruchitrambalam. The film, helmed by Mithran R Jawahar has Nithya Menen, Raashi Khanna and Priya Bhavani Shankar as the leading ladies. Thiruchitrambalam has been declared a hit at the box office.
