Sesham Mikeil Fathima: Kalyani Priyadharshan starrer’s release date gets delayed

Kalyani Priyadharshan’s upcoming Malayalam film Sesham Mikeil Fathima has a new release date. Directed by Manu C Kumar, the comedy drama movie was earlier scheduled to release on November 3. However, now the makers have revealed that Sesham Mikeil Fathima will hit the theatres on November 17. It is bankrolled by Jagadish Palanisamy, in association with Sudhan Sundaram, under the banner of Passion Studios. The new release date was announced on the makers’ social media handles along with the poster from the film.

Touted to be an enjoyable and lighthearted film, Sesham Mikeil Fathima features Kalyani as Fathima, a football announcer in the Malappuram region. The director previously mentioned that the film is not a sports-centred story, and that it simply provides the backdrop for Fathima’s story. The male lead in the movie is played by Shaheen Siddique.

In the movie, Kalyani speaks the Malabar dialect, similar to her previous film, Thallumaala, which starred Tovino Thomas. The cinematography for Sesham Mikeil Fathima is handled by Santhana Krishnan, known for his work in Kabir Singh, and music is composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab, known for his work in Hridayam. The film also features Femina George, who is known for her performance in Minnal Murali, Shaheen Siddique, Aneesh G Menon, Sudeesh and Sabumon Abdusamad.

Kalyani is also part of Joshiy’s upcoming film, titled Antony, where she’ll be seen alongside Joju George, Chemban Vinod Jose and Nyla Usha.
