Turbo - Shabareesh Varma said that different people will always have different thoughts about a movie, and he does not believe it is intentionally demeaning.

Turbo star Shabareesh Varma discussed the unfavourable reviews for the Mammootty film while visiting a theatre in Kochi. He was speaking to online media outlets after a show of Turbo. In just five days after its theatrical debut, the film has already made over Rs 50 crore at the box office, with the actor starring in a major part of it. He said that different people will always have different thoughts about a movie, and he does not believe it is intentionally demeaning. "I also think that me speaking out about it will have any impact," he added.
The Premam star continued by stating that since the movie's premiere, he has heard mixed viewpoints. He does not think, though, that the film's revenue at the box office or the fervour of the crowd in theatres have been impacted by all the bad reviews. "Even on weekdays, there is a rush in the theatres. This indicates that everyone has embraced Turbo and is having a great time watching it on a large screen," Shabareesh continued.
The actor went on to say that the main reason why people are enjoying the movie is that it's a mass entertainer Malayalam release in a long time. "We have to appreciate both Mammootty's and Vysakh's tedious efforts," he said.
Amina Nijam – ‘It’s sad to see people degrading the film’
Amina Nijam, who is starring in Turbo, said she finds it unfortunate when people criticise the movie needlessly. "In the end, it is an individual's subjective viewpoint," she remarked. The Anjaam Pathiraa actress asserted that, judging by the audience's enthusiasm and involvement in the theatre, it is clear they are enjoying the movie.
Mammootty’s Turbo crossed Rs 50 crore in box office
Mammootty and director Vysakh got back together for the action-comedy film, which debuted in theatres on May 23, following a five-year hiatus. The film was produced on a staggering budget of more than Rs 60 crore. Turbo is doing incredibly well at the box office and broke the Rs 50 crore mark in its first weekend, despite getting mixed reviews. By the end of its second weekend in theatres, Mammootty and Vysakh's most recent film will join the Rs 100 crore club in the Malayalam film industry if it maintains the same momentum in theatres.
