Mammootty’s Turbo - Budget revealed

If the recent updates are to be believed, the mass action-comedy film has emerged as the most expensive project in the career of its leading man-producer, Mammootty. The grapevine suggests that Turbo has been made with a massive budget of over Rs. 60 crore including both the production cost and the print and publicity expenses. As per the reports, the Vysakh directorial has also emerged as one of the costliest projects produced by the Malayalam film industry.

Turbo to get a massive global release

The recent updates suggest that Mammootty’s Turbo is set to get a massive theatrical release across the globe with a record number of screens. The Vysakh directorial has reportedly charted around 550 plus theatres around the world so far. The screen count is expected to expand further when the action-comedy film hits the theatres. If Turbo receives positive reviews from the audiences, it is safe to assume that the movie will get at least 100 extra shows in Kerala alone, right from its release day.

Mammootty’s mass hero avatar

From the Turbo trailer, it is safe to assume that Mammootty, who has been actively experimenting with his characters post-pandemic, is set to make a comeback to mass hero avatar with the film. The trailer suggests that the megastar had a lot of fun playing the central character Turbo Jose in the movie, which marks his third collaboration with director Vysakh.
