Turbo, the highly anticipated action-comedy film which marks the reunion of Mammootty and director Vysakh, is set to hit the big screens on May 23, 2024. Ahead of the massive global release of their ambitious film, the megastar and popular filmmaker finally revealed the highly anticipated Turbo trailer, tonight (May 12, 2024). Turbo trailer - An entertaining action-comedy film is on its way

The 2.13-minute-long trailer of Turbo confirms that Mammootty is set to make a comeback to the mass hero avatar after a very long gap, with the Vysakh directorial. The megastar shines in the role of Jose, who is known by the name ‘Turbo’ Jose in the official trailer of the action-comedy film, which promises a highly entertaining theatrical experience. From the trailer, it is safe to assume that the veteran actor’s character Jose is a simple man who gets into the bad books of Vetrivel, after a series of unexpected events.

Raj B Shetty, the celebrated Kannada actor-filmmaker is set to play the role of lead antagonist Vetrivel in the movie. From the Turbo trailer, it is also evident that the movie is not just a one-man show of Mammootty. Instead, most of the supporting characters, including the mother figure played by Bindu Panicker and Anjana Jayaprakash, seemingly have interesting roles in the film. It is also confirmed that Turbo is going to be a complete treat for the die-hard fans of the megastar and the Malayalam audiences, who loved his ‘Achayan’ (traditional Malayali Christian) avatars.

Turbo - Cast and Crew

Along with Mammootty, Turbo features a stellar star cast including Raj B Shetty, Bindu Panicker, Anjana Jayaprakash, Dileesh Pothan, Sunil, Shabareesh Varma, Kabeer Singh Duhan, Niranjana Anoop, and others in the key roles. Christo Xavier, the Bramayugam director has replaced Justin Varghese as the music composer of the film. Turbo is penned by director-writer Midhun Manuel Thomas.
