Mammootty is set to join hands with hitmaker Vysakh once again, after the massive success of Madhura Raja. The duo’s upcoming project, which has been titled Turbo, started rolling a few weeks back. The megastar is set to play the role of Turbo Jose in the movie, which is penned by Midhun Manuel Thomas. Today, Mammootty treated the fans by revealing the highly anticipated Turbo first look on social media.
Mammootty’s first look from Turbo is out
In the promising Turbo first look poster which is now going viral on social media, Mammootty is seen sporting a rugged avatar. The megastar, who is set to play the role of Turbo Jose in the project looks stylish in the traditional Malayali avatar in the poster.
The veteran actor looks handsome as always in a black denim shirt, which he paired with an off-white mundu, a cropped hairdo and subtle beard, and a wooden rosary necklace as he gets out of a jeep. From the Turbo first look poster, it is evident that Mammootty is set to play yet another unique ‘Achayan’ character in the film.
The megastar’s first look from the Vysakh directorial looks fresh and exciting, especially because it is totally different from the recent roles essayed by the legendary actor on the silver screen. Turbo is expected to be the most out-and-out mass action film of Mammootty’s career, after a very long gap.

If the latest reports are to be believed, Mammootty’s character in the movie, Turbo Jose is a powerful man who travels out of the state with a special mission. Earlier rumoured that the project has a connection with the megastar’s iconic character Kottayam Kunjachan. But, Mammootty himself cleared the air and confirmed that the Vysakh directorial revolves around a fresh subject.
Turbo features a stellar star cast including Telugu actor Sunil, Kannada actor-director Raj B Shetty, Tamil actor Arjun Das, and others in supporting roles. The mass action thriller is bankrolled by Mammotty himself, under his home banner, Mammootty Kampany.
