Shah Rukh Khan announces Pathaan: Ranveer Singh’s reaction for the ‘King’ is UNMISSABLE

Ranveer Singh was one of the first people from Bollywood to react soon after Shah Rukh Khan announced the release date of his next movie, Pathaan. Ranveer’s wife Deepika Padukone is also a part of the movie. However, Ranveer was all praises for SRK this time around.

Ranveer addressed SRK as ‘King’. For the uninitiated, Shah Rukh is known as ‘King Khan’ in B-Town.

The Gully Boy actor left a comment as soon as Shah Rukh Khan posted the Pathaan release date announcement video. He wrote, “Return Of The King.” This emotion expressed particularly well what every SRK fan ever felt after seeing the clip.

Shah Rukh Khan made the grand announcement out of the blue. He surprised all of his fans with a movie announcement four year after Zero’s release. The movie, helmed by Aanand L. Rai, released in 2018. It starred Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles.

The announcement video featured John Abraham and Deepika in their full glory. Unfortunately, fans have to wait a little longer to get Shah Rukh Khan’s official first look from the film. The actor could be seen in a blurry glimpse in the one minute four second clip.

Pathaan will see Shah Rukh Khan back in a movie after five years (half a decade). The film, helmed by Siddharth Anand, is slated to release in theatres on February 25, 2023.

While YRF’s Pathaan has been locked for a theatrical release, there is no particular update about its OTT release. The movie could either release on Netflix or Disney+Hotstar. While many SRK movies are available on Netflix, the actor also associated himself with Disney+Hotstar recently and Pathaan could be one reason to do that.
