Shah Rukh Khan-Deepika Padukone heading to Spain for the Pathan schedule; here's all you need to know

Shah Rukh Khan has been working nonstop since late December, honouring his commitments to Pathan and his cameo in Tiger 3. With a significant portion of Pathan shot in India, director Siddharth Anand is ready to reconsider his plan to shoot the espionage thriller in Spain. 

In October 2021, Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham were scheduled to fly to Mallorca for a lengthy international tour. SRK's son, Aryan Khan, was involved in the drugs-on-cruise case, so the plan had to be postponed. It is now back on the table. According to mid-day, the actors and crew will go to the European country in the first week of March.

On the itinerary are Mallorca and Cadiz, both in southwestern Spain. Speaking about the same, a source told the tabloid that in Mallorca, Siddharth will shoot a romantic song. He aims to depict the island city's splendour, which is known for its clean beaches and limestone mountains. It's Pathan's first international schedule, and Siddharth wants to make the sequences seem spectacular. 

During his 17-day stay, he'll also shoot high-octane action scenes with Shah Rukh, Deepika, and John, as well as significant confrontational sequences. The filmmaker had to postpone the schedule again as the third wave of the epidemic hit India in the last week of December.

Before flying to Europe, Khan and his crew would have to stop by the Yash Raj Studios and Film City. The source added that the team has planned a week-long schedule for the last week of February, during which they'll focus on action scenes.

Shah Rukh's return to the big screen after nearly four years. The actor has also reunited with Deepika after Happy New Year, which was released in 2014. While this is the first time the superstar has worked with John. The release date of Pathan is yet to be announced.
