Karan Johar is almost back with another bold new season of Koffee With Karan. As the promos suggest, the upcoming seventh season also seems to have its fair share of shockers and spilled secrets just like the past ones. But in some disappointing news for fans, the host recently confirmed to NDTV that some of the big Khans in Bollywood, including Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, will not be gracing the couch this season. Out of the three, SRK’s appearance on the show had certainly brought about more than a few entertaining moments for audiences. Here’s revisiting some of the shocking statements the Baadshaah of Bollywood has made on Karan’s couch.

When he trolled Rakhi Sawant

Karan’s rapid fire rounds have made for some very entertaining moments indeed, and it was no different with SRK. When the host asked what Shah Rukh would do if Rakhi Sawant accused him of kissing her by force, SRK had a savage reply indeed. The actor quipped that he would accept it, saying “because you would really have to force me to make me kiss her!”

Threatening to become ‘violent’ if someone kissed his teen daughter

SRK has never shied away from being vocal about how much he loved his children, Aaryan and Suhana. When Karan asked if the actor would kill the person who kissed Suhana, who was 16 at the time, SRK had an answer that would resonate with dads all over the world. The actor casually responded that he would ‘rip the lips off’ of the person who did it.

When he refused to give up the mantle of Kaun Banega Crorepati’s host

Amitabh Bachchan won hearts as the host of the popular quiz game show, Kaun Banega Crorepati. SRK also had a brief stint as the show’s host for its third season, after which Big B retained his hosting status. When Karan asked if SRK could see someone else as the host of KBC, the latter had responded saying that the ‘last host’ ‘gave up’ the show when he was 60. So Shah Rukh too wanted to stick it out as host till he reached the same age. He had also asked if Karan wanted to take over too.

When he said he wouldn't hesitate to jump in front of a car for his kids

Time and time again, SRK has spoken about his adoration for his children. On Koffee With Karan, Shah Rukh had explained beautifully just how much his children meant to him. He had spoken of how having a child was like letting a piece of one’s heart exist out of one’s body. He said that if he saw a car seeding towards his children, he would not hesitate to stand in front of the car to stop it.

During their appearance in season one, Amitabh was asked what he had that SRK has not, and the former replied ‘height’. SRK made sure to prove his wit when the same question was thrown his way, replying that Amitabh did not have a wife taller than his(Shah Rukh’s).

When SRK trolled Kajol on the subject of Aaryan and Nysa’s ‘elopement’

Shah Rukh had shared the couch with Kajol and Rani Mukerji during an appearance on Koffee With Karan. The host had questioned Kajol what she would do if Aaryan and Nysa had eloped, to which the actress quipped that she would say ‘Dilwale dulhe le jayenge’. Not one to be undone when it comes to witticisms, SRK playfully trolled his co-star, saying he wasn't paying attention to the question as he was worried thinking about the prospect of being related to Kajol.
