Shah Rukh Khan opens up about what he wants to do next: I want to do everything

The Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Pathaan is one of the most controversial and eagerly-awaited films of late in Bollywood. The Don actor recently opened up about what kind of films he wants to do next after his three 2023 releases – Pathaan, Jawaan and Dunki.

SRK said that he would like to do a film like the 1994 Hollywood film Leon, in which he could play “an older, quiet guy, very intense with a grey beard and grey hair.” He added at an interview that he wants to do everything, including playing a good guy, bad guy, mean guy, happy guy, loving guy fighting guy. “I want to do everything,”  he said.

Speaking about his upcoming film Pathaan, Shah Rukh said that he aspired to do an action film like this 31 years ago, and he hopes that he has managed to look convincing in it at the age of 57.

The Bollywood superstar went on to reveal that when he was offered Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge by Aditya Chopra, he actually wanted to do an action film, which never manifested. So, all these years later, when the opportunity came to star in an action film, SRK jumped at the offer. “I think it’s an over the top, outstanding action film,” he said, when asked how he would describe Pathaan as a film. .

Shah Rukh added that he is excited to watch himself performing stunts on the big screen, whistling for himself the loudest while watching the trailer. He added that he hopes his children will like Pathaan.

Helmed by Sidhart Anand, the film also stars John Abraham and Deepika Padukone, and is slated to release in theatres on January 25, 2023.
