Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan is the most awaited Hindi film so far. Even though Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rule is much awaited, the movie cannot be considered a Hindi film because it is actually pan-Indian. In Hindi films, Shah Rukh Khan has taken the lead with Pathaan, followed by Salman Khan’s Tiger 3.

Shah Rukh Khan’s other two films Jawan and Dunki actually also made it to the list released by Ormax Media. They are the most awaited in the exact same order.

It looks like the era of the Khans is back. Shah Rukh, who is bringing as many as three surprises since his last release Zero (2018), has become a favourite once again.

All of his films made it to the list and got a spot in the top five, beating some well-known movies too. The movies include the ones his peer Salman Khan’s film as well as a Rohit Shetty movie, Cirkus, among the many others.

Salman has made it to the list only for Tiger 3, a movie which is a part of his successful franchise (Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai). He also has Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan releasing in 2023.

Aamir Khan is yet to announce his next movie. The actor was last seen in Laal Singh Chaadha, which has also released after Thugs Of Hindostan (2018). Aamir had only made cameo appearances since then and the Forrest Gump Hindi adaptation saw him in the lead role.

Ranbir Kapoor’s films also did not make it to the list, probably because many do not even have a title yet. Currently, the actor is making waves for Brahmastra. Prabhas’ Adipurush, Kartik Aaryan’s Shehzada, Ayushmann Khurrana’s Dream Girl 2, Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter and Akshay Kumar’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan did not make it to the list either.

Thus, it looks like it will be the reign of the Khans in Bollywood once again. Hopefully, the kings will also be able to revive the industry and make it as great as pre-COVID times.
