Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up to release Pathaan in theatres. It is a huge deal for many reasons. While it marks SRK’s comeback to films since his 2018 release Zero, the movie is also the first expected blockbuster from the well-known production house, YRF. The movie brings John Abraham back as the antagonist and Deepika Padukone as the female lead opposite SRK.

Thus, many movies appear to be banking on Pathaan’s theatrical release on Republic Day. Many celebrities, including Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor and Ajay Devgn, will release promos from their upcoming films throughout the week.

It commences with Akshay Kumar-Emraan Hashmi’s Selfiee. The trailer of this movie will be unveiled on Sunday.

The first day of the week – Monday – will host what is touted to be the biggest surprise of the year. The trailer of Ranbir Kapoor-Shraddha Kapoor’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar will be out on Monday. This one will also be attached to Pathaan’s release in theatres.

Ajay Devgn will unveil the teaser of his highly-awaited film Bholaa on Tuesday. The movie is Ajay’s directorial and promises to be high on VFX.

Wednesday is the big day when Pathaan will release in theatres. It, obviously, does not end at that. Salman Khan will arrive in theatres with SRK. Hold your horses. We mean, the teaser of his upcoming film Kisika Bhai Kisiki Jaan will be out on the day of Pathaan’s theatrical release.

Another actor who appears to be banking on Pathaan’s popularity is SRK’s nemesis Sunny Deol. It is reported that his upcoming film Gadar 2’s first look will be out just a day after Pathaan release.

Phew! With so many updates, next week definitely looks beyond promising!
