Shaitaan – Ajay Devgn charged more than Article 370’s budget, Jyotika and R Madhavan are nowhere close; here’s how much the cast got paid

The latest one and the opener for him is Shaitaan, which stars him alongside R Madhavan, Jyotika, and Janki Bodiwala. The movie has created quite a hype around itself with the recently released trailer, songs, and multiple promos that are surfacing on the internet right now. The headlines also cover the movie with great interest as we saw the movie witnessing good advance booking on the first day of the window opening. Making buzz now is the salary of the stars of the movie.

Shaitaan Cast Salaries

There is so much curiosity for everything that happens behind the scenes in the movie. The bloopers, accidents, fights, and more. But one thing that always grabs attention is how much the actor charged to be in the movie. Shaitaan is a mid-level project reportedly made at a budget of Rs 60 crore to Rs 65 crore, as per NDTV India, which means the movie is still a costly affair and that is given because it has some very massive stars at the helm of it. Ajay Devgn has set records of charging fees over the years and is himself a producer too.

As per the same portal, the fees that each of the leading cast has charged have been revealed. Nothing of which is confirmed by anyone related to the film, which means it should be taken with a pinch of salt. Starting with Janki Bodiwala, who has the most interesting character to play, the actor got paid something between Rs 2 crore to Rs 3 crore, as per the same report. Jyotika, who ventures into the Hindi films, is getting paid Rs 5 crore.

The film has two leading men Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan. Considering the movie is around them and their conflict, it is given that their paychecks will be heftier than the others. Madhavan is being paid a sum of Rs 10 crore for Shaitaan, which is double that of Jyotika. And talking about Ajay Devgn’s salary, the actor is getting paid more than the collective of all others. Devgn’s fees for Shaitaan allegedly is Rs 25 crore.

Ajay Devgn’s Fees More Than Article 370 Budget

What is fascinating about Ajay Devgn’s Shaitaan fees is that it is more than the collective budget of Article 370. The movie that stars Yami Gautam in the lead is directed by Aditya Dhar and is now in the theatres. The movie was made at a budget of Rs 20 crore, as per several reports. Now if Ajay is getting paid Rs 25 crore, Article 370 was made at Rs 5 crore less. There is no confirmation on the salaries of the Shaitaan cast and these are still reports.
