Shamita Shetty: The pin-drop silence when Tejasswi's hand came up said it all

Shamita Shetty has been disappointed by Bigg Boss once again after Bigg Boss season 3 and Bigg Boss OTT. The actress came to Bigg Boss 15 but ended up being in the top 5. This has got her upset, especially since her arch-rival Tejasswi Prakash won the show.

While talking to Indian Express, Shamita questioned what was the point of her joining the show if she only has to end up in top 5. She lashed out stating that she had to compete with TV actors who have an immense fan following. The actress, obviously, hinted at Tejasswi and Karan, who are stars on Indian Television.

Nonetheless, Shamita expressed gratitude for the love she received from fans and the press. The actress stated that she felt touched by the gesture.

Further taking a dig at Tejasswi, Shamita stated, “I really feel what’s the point of gaining a victory that is questioned by everyone.” Sharing that she would rather get the love, Shamita said that it was pin-drop silence when Tejasswi’s hand came up, which said it all.

For the uninitiated, Gauahar Khan had pointed out the same on the night of the Bigg Boss 15 grand finale. She had also called Pratik Sehajpal, the first runner-up, the deserving winner of the show, while pointing out the fact that the studio went silent when Tejasswi was declared the winner, which spoke volumes.

Shamita further stated that Pratik deserved to be the winner in comparison to Tejasswi. She stated that whether in tasks or taking stands, he did it with utmost honesty.

Tejasswi did not only win Bigg Boss 15 trophy and Rs. 50 lakhs prize money but the actress also bagged a role in Ekta Kapoor’s Naagin 6. A promo of her show was released on the day of the grand finale.
