We had earlier reported that Malayalam actor Shane Nigam will be making his Tamil debut with the upcoming film titled Madraskaaran. The makers have recently announced that the shooting for the film has been wrapped up. The film is written and directed by Vaali Mohan Das and also features other known faces in its cast. A release date is yet to be announced.
Madraskaaran shoot wrapped up
The shooting for Madraskaaran, the film that marks Malayalam actor Shane Nigam's Tamil debut, has wrapped up. The makers released a video showing clips from the sets, including behind-the-scenes action sequences and the cast members performing. One can see Shane performing an emotional sequence, having fun on the sets, and interacting with other cast members. Towards the end, the team celebrates the wrap-up by cutting a cake.

Apart from Shane Nigam, the film also stars actors Kalaiyarasan, Niharika Konidela, Aishwarya Dutta, Karunas, Pandiarajan, and others. It is written and directed by Vaali Mohan Das.

Madraskaaran is an emotional action drama. Shane Nigam had earlier revealed that he plays a man named Sathyamoorty, who hails from Pudukottai. While his character grew up in Chennai, the actor said that he has to go back to his native town after his father wants him to get married. Shane also shared that playing a Tamilian was one of the biggest challenges for him.
Madraskaaran will be Niharika's second Tamil project after Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren. The technical crew consists of a camera cranked by Prasanna, while the music is scored by Sam CS. The team had gone on the floor in February, with a release date yet to be announced.
Produced by B Jagadish of SR Productions, Madraskaaran is expected to be out in cinemas by mid-2024. Meanwhile, Shane, who was last seen in Vela, is expecting the release of his Malayalam film, Little Hearts, on June 7.
