Sharkeek 2 is a highly awaited Punjabi film directed by Navaiat Singh and Bobby Aujla. The film stars Jimmy Sheirgill, Dev Kharound and Sharan Kaur in the lead roles. The official trailer for the film was released today, June 16.
The characters of the film are introduced in the film trailer. In the film, Jimmy and Dev portray stepbrothers with the same father but separate moms.
The trailer eventually reveals both the brothers falling in love with the same lady, Sharan. Soon after, Sharan marries Jimmy, which hurts Dev even more since the brothers were already feuding over the properties.

Mukul Dev, Amar Noorie, Anita Meet, Aman Sutardhar, Mahavir Bhullar, and Sunita Dhir also play important parts in the film. Shareek 2 is the follow-up to the 2015 smash hit. Jimmy also appeared in the original film. The forthcoming film is being produced by White Hill Studios and Ohri Production.
The movie was initially scheduled to be released in July 2020. Unfortunately, due to the lockdown and theatres remaining closed, the release date of this film was postponed forward for approximately two years. The film will now be released on July 8, 2022.
On the other side, Jimmy began his cinematic career with the 1996 thriller Maachis. He has achieved success in both Hindi as well as Punjabi films. The actor has appeared in Tanu Weds Manu, Special 26, Mohabbatein, Hum Tum, Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. and several other popular Bollywood films.
Jimmy made his Punjabi film debut in 2005 with the film Yaaran Naal Baharan. He eventually gained popularity for his films such as Daana Paani, Dharti and Mel Karade Rabba.
