Ashneer Grover, a shark in Shark Tank India, also talked about his perceived crude behaviour on the show

Ashneer Grover, who is one of the sharks on Shark Tank India, recently revealed that he had made pitches to fellow shark Ashneer Grover back in the day.
Talking in Raj Shamani’s Figuring Out podcast, Grover said, “I knew Anupam from before. I’d once tried to raise money for BharatPe from him. I got the money from elsewhere, so I never ended up taking his money. In fact, I had made a pitch to him, not once but twice.”
The Managing Director and Co-Founder of BharatPe, Grover was often called rude in the show. He explained that is because he speaks in Hindi and that he did not know how to behave in the show.
He added that while English has a musical tone, Hindi gets straight to the point and that he also asks everyone in the office to speak in Hindi.
Apart from Grover and Mittal, the other sharks on the show are, Sugar Cosmetics co-founder and CEO Vineeta Singh, boAt co-founder and CMO Aman Gupta, Lenskart co-founder and CEO Peyush Bansal, Emcure Pharmaceuticals executive director Namita Thapar and MamaEarth co-founder Ghazal Alagh.
Shark Tank India is based on the American business reality show of the same name. It became an instant success since it first aired in December. The show concluded its first season last week, which is available to stream on Sony LIV and YouTube.
