Shark Tank India judge Namita Thapar had earlier said that she regretted not investing in a startup on the show. Well, the executive director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals has now acted on it and got in touch with its founders. She took to social media to announce that she has finally invested in the startup of the farmer, Pandurang Taware.

Namita posted a photo on Instagram with Pandurang and others. Sharing the picture, she wrote: "A positive start to my weekend… my 2 regrets during shark tank were Jugaadu Kamlesh & Pandurang Taware, 2 incredible farmers from Maharashtra. Today I have invested in Pandurang’s company that is working towards a super cause that is close to my heart - Agro Tourism - excited to partner with him to help pan India farmers show the beauty of our villages to the world ! #proudindian @agritourismindia @pandurangtaware."

She had also expressed her regret about not investing in Jugaadu Kamlesh's startup as well. Reacting to the post, Kamlesh dropped red heart and some fire emojis. The post has been bombarded with several comments. A fan commented on the post, calling it an 'amazing gesture'. The comment reads: "What an amazing gesture….Hope this inspires other investors to venture into one of the most neglected industries of India. This is truly inspiring…#All the best Pandurang’s Team."

Another fan praised the initiative too and said he knew Pandurang's startup works towards the development of the country and that all sharks should have invested as the founders were 'loyal and humble' during their presentation. "More power to you!!" wrote a person.

Fans also commented saying that agriculture has a lot of potentials and the country can grow only with farmers' contributions. "Now, it is good to see that you finally joined their hands. Best of luck to all of you," reads the rest of the comment.

Namita was earlier on a YouTube podcast with comedian Rohan Joshi. She had revealed the startups she regrets not investing in. "I regretted missing out on the TagZ deal--the popped, the chips with the healthy angle to it, the dip which was delicious. We really fought hard for it and we lost by like .25%. But then the three or four deals that I lost out but after the show got done I got in touch with them and invested in them. So no regrets anymore," she had said. The shark has invested in over 25 startups on the reality show.

Apart from Namita, Season one of the Shark Tank India was also judged by Ashneer Grover (former co-founder of BharatPe), Aman Gupta (co-founder and CMO of boAt), Vineeta Singh (SUGAR Cosmetics co-founder and CEO), Anupam Mittal (Shaadi.com founder), Ghazal Alagh (co-founder of MamaEarth) and Peyush Bansal (CEO and co-founder of Lenskart).

The show was hosted by Rannvijay Singha. It is an official adaptation of the US show, Shark Tank. All episodes of the show are currently available to stream on SonyLIV.
