Tuesday’s match was a golden night for Maxwell as the 35-year-old cricketer created historic records by making 104 runs in 47 balls. Thus, giving Australia the edge to win the match. Apart from scoring and equating Indian cricket Rohit Sharma scoring four centuries, Glenn Maxwell also equals the record for the fastest ton by an Australian in men's T20Is.
