Shehnaaz Gill has revealed the kind of movies she wants to work in. It is not a typical genre but something that would make you proud to be a Shehnaazian. The actress-singer revealed the same in her latest YouTube video.

Shehnaaz made headlines for crooning ‘We Don’t Talk Anymore’ in Punjabi in the same video. However, the actress also made a big revelation – about the kind of movies she wants to work in.

In the video, Shehnaaz said that she wants to work in women-oriented films. She said that since women rule, she wants to only work in movies that see her in a substantial role as a woman.

The actress was last seen in Honsla Rakh in the role of Sweety. She played Yenkey Singh (Diljit Dosanjh)’s ex-fiance who is also the mother of Yenkey’s child, Honsla. In the film, Sweety wanted to get rid of the baby and was unhappy that she got pregnant with Yenkey’s child. She knew that she wanted to be something in life but Yenkey wanted the baby and so, Sweety gave Yenkey their baby and moved on in life. Years later, she came back in his life and was still certain about what she wants in life.

While Shehnaaz did not play the lead role in Honsla Rakh (Sonam Bajwa did), she had a lot to contribute to the film and her character stole the show, sometimes even more than Diljit or Sonam. Even in the smaller appearance, this actress had a substantial role, which is what she hinted at doing even further.

According to various reports, Shehnaaz is also a part of Salman Khan’s upcoming film Bhaijaan. Previously titled Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, there is still no update on what exactly would Shehnaaz play in the film and how big or small a role she has in it. If she is a part of the project, it would mark her big Bollywood debut.
