Shiksha Mandal: It’s Gauhar Khan-Gulshan Devaiah vs Pavan Malhotra in MX Player’s new web series

MX Player has introduced a new web series titled Shiksha Mandal. Gauahar Khan, Gulshan Devaiah and Pavan Malhotra have been confirmed as the lead actors on the show. Syed Ahmed Afzal of Laal Rang fame will helm this web series.

Shiksha Mandal is based on the genuine events surrounding India's largest education scandal. The show focuses on educational corruption, fraud, cheating and criminal conspiracy that impacts students.

Gauahar will portray a police officer, while Gulshan will play a person who operates a coaching centre. Pavan will play the show's antagonist.

Fans couldn't wait for the new series and swamped the comment area with their excitement as soon as the post was shared. This also happens because it is the first time that these three actors have been paired up together.

MX Player revealed the show's look on social media. The OTT platform captions it as, “Presenting ‘Shiksha Mandal’, inspired by true events around the biggest education scam in India starring @gauaharkhan, @gulshandevaiah78 & @pavanrajmalhotra. Directed by @afzalistan #ShikshaMandal - an MX Original Series, coming soon!”

MX Player's Chief Content Officer Gautam Talwar shared in a press statement, “We are delighted to share the first look of our upcoming social thriller, Shiksha Mandal. At MX, we strive to tell the most authentic stories of India and bring relatable, raw and real content to our audiences. And Shiksha Mandal is another series that ticks against all these boxes.”

There is yet to be an official word about the series' premiere date.

Gauahar debuted in Yash Raj Films' Rocket Singh: Salesman Of The Year in 2009. The actress went on to perform a variety of parts in films such as Game, Fever and Begum Jaan. The actress is also well-known in the television business, especially after she won Bigg Boss 7. Gauahar has also appeared in a number of web series before Shiksha Mandal. These include Salt City and Tandav.
