The shoot for Aishwarya Rajesh's upcoming film Driver Jamuna has been wrapped up. Aishwarya Rajesh, who plays a cabbie for the first time in her career, shared pictures from the set where the team is seen celebrating the occasion with a cake. Taking to her social media page, Aishwarya Rajesh wrote, "That’s a wrap 🤗🤗 Can’t wait for u all to cya soon in theatres #driverjamuna If u haven’t watched d trailer checkout https://youtu.be/I68uLciEPC4 @kinslin @GhibranOfficial @gokulbenoy @SPChowdhary3 (sic)." The film is directed by P Kinslin of Vathikuchi fame.
Driver Jamuna is said to be a road thriller and in the first-look poster, we saw the actress looking all bruised and her sipping tea in the other. Taking to his social media page, director Murugadoss, who shared the first look wrote, "Elated to launch the first looks of @aishu_dil's #DriverJamuna. The plot is said to revolve around the many incidents that happen with a woman cab driver. Aishwarya is said to have performed some high-octane action sequences in the film. Ghibran has scored the music for the film. While Gokul Benoy has handled the cinematography, R Ramar has handled the editing. Stunt choreographer Anl Arasu has choreographed action scenes. Don Bala is in charge of the art direction. The supporting cast for the film includes Aadukalam Naren, Abhishek, Sri Ranjani, Pandian, Manikandan, Kavitha Bharathi and Rajesh.
Aishwarya Rajesh was last seen in the Amazon Prime Video's hit series Suzhal: The Vortex, in which she played a sexual abuse victim. The series created by Pushkar and Gayatri, and directed by Bramma and Anucharan, received rave reviews. She also has her in kitty Theeyavar Kulaigal Nadunga, Mohandas, Dhruva Natchathiram and The Great Indian Kitchen in Kollywood.
