The trio, who are part of the segment, The Couple, have opened up about filming for the project during the pandemic

Unpaused: Naya Safar is edging closer to its release on Amazon Prime Video, much to the excitement of the fans. The anthology series will consist of five stories about hope and living life through tough times.
One of the five stories in the series, titled The Couple, is directed by Nupur Asthana starring Shreya Dhanwanthary and Priyanshu Painyuli. The trio have now opened up about filming during the pandemic in an interview with India Today.
Talking about the experience, Asthana said, “I wrote the story with two characters and one house to minimize contact with too many people. So, it was easier for us because we could be in a bubble for three days. Of course, it was scary, but we managed.”
“The most important thing was to take precautions and follow guidelines, which we have all been doing in the industry. Vaccinations were done for everybody in the unit and the idea was about trusting each other and the producers with regard to keeping the place sanitized,” said Painyuli.
He also added that it was a good thing to have the story written based on a house, because they did not have to step out anywhere.
Dhanwanthary added, “Everybody involved with the shooting made it so comfortable and safe for all of us. So, we could concentrate on telling the story like we wanted to.”
Gond Ke Laddu by Shikha Makan, Teen Tigada by Ruchir Arun, War Room by Ayappa KM, Vaikunth by Nagraj Manjule and The Couple by Asthana are the five titles in the anthology series. The series will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on January 21, 2022.
