Shweta Tiwari to play CBI officer in ULLU's Shukla V/S Tripathi

After making her OTT debut with ZEE5 original show Hum Tum And Them, Shweta Tiwari is set for another show in the digital space. The actor will be starring in a show titled Shukla V/S Tripathi which will be streaming on ULLU. It is a suspense thriller about a young poet named Madhurima Shukla who gets shot on live television. Shweta is playing the lead role of a CBI officer who pays no heed to the political society and their norms but is hell-bent to find out the truth about Madhurima's murder.

In a statement, Shweta said, "I am excited to be part of the upcoming series Shukla V/S Tripathi. It's a thriller with a lot of suspense and we have just begun shooting for it. A young poet gets shot on live television and now it is up to the investigating officers to dig out the truth against all obstacles."

The actor added, "I play a no-nonsense CBI officer, Ridhima Lakha who cannot be swayed or bribed. As we begin this journey I just wish for love and support from my fans."

Meanwhile, Shweta is currently a part of Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 for which she recently shot in Cape Town. It's reported that the actor is among the finalists in the Rohit Shetty-hosted reality show.

Her last outing as an actor was Mere Dad Ki Dulhan, the television series wherein she was paired opposite Varun Badola. The daily soap went off air in 2020.

Talking about ULLU, the streaming platform recently released Tandoor starring Rashmi Desai and Tanuj Virwani in the lead roles. Even this web series is of the thriller genre and hit the OTT platform on July 23, 2021.
