Sidharth Malhotra, who will be seen in Yodha in less than a week, might have already signed his next. This time, the actor could be working with Drishyam director Jeethu Joseph. In fact, it looks like he’s in talks with two directors from South India. It is to be noted that Sidharth give one of his biggest hits – Shershaah – working with Vishnu Vardhan.

What we hear

Sidharth wants to work in a thriller film with Jeethu Joseph and the project will be backed by Junglee Pictures, according to PeepingMoon. He could start work on the film from July 2024. It revolves around a quick-witted law enforcement officer who wants to bring justice for an international high-stake case.

The other, the report claims, is an action-thriller with BR Films. This film could be about South African diamonds. The timeline on this project is not yet confirmed.

Sidharth’s other projects

Once Yodha is out in theatres on March 15 and the promotions for the movie are over, Sidharth will go back to shooting for Tushar Jalota’s Spider, which is backed by Maddock Films. Apart from that, the report claims that Sidharth is also in talks for a family comedy with a Bollywood director.

Directed by Sagar Ombre and Pushkar Ojha, Yodha stars Sidharth in the lead role with Disha Patani and Raashi Khan as the female leads. Disha plays an airhostess who helps Yodha complete his mission. Raashi plays his lover in the movie. Ronit Roy will also be seen in the movie as Sidharth’s father. The film is backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.

Yodha is touted to be Bollywood’s first aerial action film and the movie’s promotions have been something similar. After unveiling a poster mid-air, the trailer was launched in a flight arranged for media personalities. The movie will now release in theatres on Friday, March 15.
