Sikandar Kher has begun filming the third instalment of Aarya. When the actor joined Sushmita Sen and director Ram Madhvani on the Mumbai set, the cast and crew greeted him with these heartfelt lines from the 1983 movie Scarface: "The eyes, chico. They never lie." The note may be a reference to how Kher's moody portrayal of the shy Daulat had an effect.

The actor told Mid Day that he is excited to go back to the real world of the Disney+ Hotstar show. He said that it's nice to bring back a character he has lived with for two seasons. The performers may be quite familiar with their roles, but Madhvani made sure they were well-prepared before they appeared in front of the camera. Kher continues by saying that they conducted readings and seminars.

His storyline in the crime thriller has been one of the most interesting. He went from being a loyal bodyguard to the family patriarch to a loyal friend of Sen's character, Aarya. He guarantees that the upcoming version will have surprises.

Kher went on to share that Daulat has changed over the course of the past two seasons. So, as the story goes on, not only will his character get more depth, but so will the majority of the other major characters.

Earlier, while talking to OTTplay, Kher spoke about how it's a great time to be an actor. He had said that the pinnacle of their professional lives was not just for him but for everyone, including technicians. This is a result of OTT and the expanding potential it offers. Of course, he's happy that shows are receiving such good praise outside of the theatre due to OTT distribution. At the end of the day, Kher wants to know what the audience thinks of his performance as an artist, and he is glad it's occurring right now.
