Sanam Teri Kasam actor Harshvardhan Rane has moved on to his next project. Titled Silaa, this is a romantic action-drama film. The actor has revealed the first look/motion poster from the movie, and it sees him wrapping his arms around The Diplomat actress Sadia Khateeb. See it here...

Harshvardhan Rane holds Sadia Khateeb close in Silaa first look. Both the actors appear burnt and bruised in the motion poster as a fire circles around them, literally. For the uninitiated, Sadia is John Abraham’s co-star from The Diplomat.
Silaa shooting update
Through the motion poster, Harshvardhan Rane also updates that Omung Kumar's next film will go on floors tomorrow i.e. on Tuesday, July 1. The movie also stars Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 as well as Bigg Boss 18 winner Karan Veer Mehra. He plays the lead antagonist in the movie. The actor’s last movie was Choices that released in 2021.
Harshvardhan Rane's films and Sanam Teri Kasam 2 update
Harshvardhan Rane will next be seen in Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat. The Milap Zaveri directorial stars Sonam Bajwa in the lead role and will be out on October 2. The actor is reportedly also a part of Kun Faya Kun opposite Sanjeeda Sheikh.
As for Sanam Teri Kasam 2, the makers (director duo Vinay Sapru and Radhika Rao) have confirmed that the movie is happening and Pakistani artist Mawra Hocane does not return for the sequel (her character died in the original film and despite the initial demand from the fans, there’s no scope for return). This development leaves fans hopeful that Rane will be a part of the film again. The makers are yet to reveal the release date as well as the new female lead for the movie. Harshvardhan Rane is expected to confirm the project himself, when it happens.
