Arun Vijay's latest action entertainer Sinam has hit screens today and fans are excited about the cop drama. The trailer had hinted that the film will have Arun Vijay playing a police officer who is investigating a murder that involves a share auto. Here are a few reasons why Sinam is a film to watch out for.
Arun Vijay in an action avatar
When it comes to action films, Arun Vijay has always been ahead of the game. The actor has pulled off the role successfully in a number of films, be it Kuttram 23 or the recent web series Tamil Rockerz. In Sinam, too, Arun Vijay plays a no-nonsense police officer investigating a murder. It's interesting to see the actor putting together the clues, joining the dots and heading the investigation. The actor seems to be at ease in the avatar
The combination of GNR Kumaravelan and Arun Vijay
GNR Kumaravelan is stepping into new territories with Sinam. The director, who is known to make films in the romance genre with films like Ninaithale Inikkum, Yuvan Yuvathi, Haridas and Wagah, is testing new waters with Sinam. Sinam is said to be loaded with a lot of action and suspense in store. The film also marks the maiden collaboration between GNR Kumaravelan and Arun Vijay.
The short runtime
Unlike many of the recent films that span around 3 hours, Arun Vijay's Sinam is crisp and to the point. The film has been cleared with a U/A certificate and will have a runtime of 1 hour and 54 minutes. A week before the release, GNR Kumaravelan had shared that the final copy of the film was ready.
An engaging thriller
The trailer of the film has raised a lot of expectations from the audience. While the plot delves into the murder investigation, we also see Arun Vijay as a doting family man. There seems to be a lot of twists and turns in the film to keep the audience engaged.
