Aamir Khan's Bollywood comeback film has minted approximately Rs. 21.50 crore on day 2 i.e. first Saturday of release, according to Sacnilk. The movie saw a significant rise from the afternoon shows (with the highest occupancy of 56.71% for night shows) and thus, it could mint twice from day 1 Box Office.

When can Sitaare Zameen Par enter Rs 100 crore club?

Despite expectations of it entering Rs. 100 crore club over the weekend itself, Sitaare Zameen Par will probably take longer to mint the amount. Given the current trend, the movie might earn close to Rs. 70 crore over the first weekend at best. If it passes the Monday test, then RS Prasanna's Sitaare Zameen Par could earn Rs. 100 crore before Friday. If not, then it would take at least the week for the film to recover its budget. Nonetheless, Rs. 100 crore is not far in sight for Sitaare Zameen Par and thus, the movie would be a hit, if not a superhit or blockbuster.

Sitaare Zameen Par is the Hindi adaptation of Champions (originally adapted from the Spanish movie Campeones) and marks Genelia D’Souza Deshmukh’s comeback to Bollywood too. The film also stars Taare Zameen Par actor Darsheel Safary in a special appearance.
