Although Aamir Khan's movie Sitaare Zameen Par barely made it through day 1, the movie is seeing steady growth on day 2. The film is seeing a potential rise on the second day, Saturday, particularly in the afternoon shows. The movie has already earned more than half of what it had minted on day 1. Here's analyzing the growth of the film on day 2.
Aamir Khan's Sitaare Zameen Par Box Office collection on day 2 is Rs. 7.86 crore, according to Sacnilk. This is the Box Office collection only till the afternoon, thus proving that Sitaare Zameen Par is indeed performing better on the second day.
Sitaare Zameen Par earned Rs. 10.7 crore on day 1, and has minted Rs. 7.86 crore on day 2 by afternoon itself. This proves that the movie is seeing an upward trend on the weekend, and it is no ordinary one.
Sitaare Zameen Par saw 13% occupany in the morning shows on day 2, which was similar to day 1 trends. It was, however, the footfalls in the afternoon that changed the game. With the number going up to 31.86%, which is more than twice that of the morning occupancy, Sitaare Zameen Par is sure to see some, if not significant growth, on day 2. However, if looking at the trend from day 1, Sitaare Zameen Par day 2 is expected to see massive footfalls in the night shows. This would reflect on the final Box Office numbers for the RS Prasanna directorial on day 2.
Sitaare Zameen Par has mostly been praised by viewers and critics alike. Some even call the movie better than Taare Zameen Par. Already made on a lower budget for an Aamir Khan movie (Rs. 90 crore), Sitaare Zameen Par is likely to enter Rs. 100 crore club very soon. Where the movie goes from there would decide if it could be a hit, superhit or blockbuster. The RS Prasanna directorial also re-introduces Genelia D'Souza Deshmukh to Bollywood and brings TZP star kid Darsheel Safary back.
