Sivakarthikeyan' upcoming film Prince is all set to hit screens for Diwali. Interestingly, this will be Sivakarthikeyan's first Diwali release. The film is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual and is directed by Anudeep KV. Sivakarthikeyan is equally popular in Andhra Pradesh and Telengana and his last few movies did well in the Telugu states. A couple of days ago, the makers had released the first-look posters of hero Sivakarthikeyan and Ukrainian model and actress Maria Ryaboshapka, who is playing the leady lady the film.
The film is in its last leg of shooting. Meanwhile, the makers announced the release date of the movie through this hilarious video. Sivakarthikeyan and Anudeep blame Sathyaraj for the delay, but they become silent after Sathyaraj enters the room. Finally, Maria arrives and joins the conversation. The discussion happens in Telugu, Tamil and English languages. At last, they announce the special occasion of Diwali for the movie release.

S Thaman is the music director , while Manoj Paramahamsa is the cinematographer. Praveen KL is the editor and Arun Viswa is the co-producer. Thaman shared a picture from the recording session last evening and captioned it, "With our Dear #Don @Siva_Kartikeyan and dandanakaaa don @anudeepfilm馃お #Prince (sic)."
The film is produced by Suniel Narang, D Suresh Babu and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao is being made under the banners of Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP, Suresh Productions and Shanthi Talkies. Sonali Narang is presenting the movie.
Interestingly, Prince will clash with Karthi's Sardar, which is also gearing up for a Diwali release. Prince was earlier supposed to release on the festive occasion of Vinayagar Chaturthi, but the makers have now changed the plans.
