Japanese series ‘Alice in Borderland’ renewed for a third season

The hit live-action Japanese series Alice in Borderland, has been renewed for a third season. The news comes as a relief to fans of the series after season two ended in a major cliffhanger. The Netflix TV show is based on the eponymous manga series, and it is a sci-fi tale about an ardent gamer who is inexplicably pulled into an alternate reality of Tokyo along with his friends, and forced to play a deadly survival game. Danny Glover stars as Santa in the comedy 'The Naughty Nine'

Veteran Hollywood star Donald Glover, who has played iconic characters in films such as Lethal Weapon, The Color Purple, and Predator 2, will essay the role of Santa Claus in the upcoming Christmas heist comedy The Naughty Nine. The plot revolves around a motley crew of children who plan a heist on Santa’s village to steal presents, which they believe are rightfully theirs. The film is helmed by Alberto Belli and is touted as a cross between a kids’ holiday tale and Ocean’s Eleven. The Naughty List will be available to stream from November 23rd on Disney+ Hotstar.

Neil Gaiman working on ‘Good Omens’ season 3 script despite no confirmation of renewal

The hit Brit fantasy comedy series, Good Omens, is yet to be renewed for a third season by Amazon Prime Video. However, the author of the original novels Neil Gaiman, who also serves as the showrunner for the live-action series adaptation, has confirmed that he has already begun working on the script for the third season. This could be a hint that the streaming platform could eventually greenlight a third season. The series stars Michael Sheen and David Tennant in lead roles as an angel and a demon who form an unlikely partnership to prevent an apocalypse. The Emmy-nominated series is available to stream on Prime Video in India.
