Shah Rukh Khan to play a cameo in Laal Singh Chaddha

It’s official! Shah Rukh Khan will make a guest appearance in Aamir Khan’s upcoming film Laal Singh Chaddha. The news was confirmed by Aamir himself during an interview. The film which is an official remake of the Hollywood classic Forrest Gump, also features Kareena Kapoor, Naga Chaitanya, and Mona Singh. Aamir plays the titular character in the film which is slated to hit theatres on Thursday.

Ezra Miller charged with felony burglary

The Flash actor Ezra Miller has found himself in trouble again. This time, for stealing multiple bottles of alcohol from an unoccupied house in Vermont. The cops charged him with felony burglary after examining surveillance footage. Earlier this year, the actor was convicted twice in Hawaii - for disorderly conduct and harassment at a karaoke bar and for second-degree assault.

Joe Keery to star in season 5 of Fargo

Stranger Things alum Joe Keery will be next seen in the fifth season of the anthology series Fargo. New Girl actor Lamorne Morris and Never Have I Ever star Richa Moorjani have also joined the cast of the series. Though plot and character details are kept under wraps, it is known that Keery’s character’s name is Gator Tillman, Morris will play Witt Farr, and Moorjani will play Indira Olmstead. Created by Noah Hawley, the fifth season of the show is set in the year 2019.

DC series Strange Adventures shelved

Days after Warner Bros. shocked fans by canceling the highly anticipated superhero film Batgirl, another DC series Strange Adventures has been shelved at HBO Max. Executive produced by Greg Berlanti, the anthology series was to feature multiple characters from the DC universe. Director Kevin Smith was attached to direct and co-write an episode of the show.

Pac-Man to get live-action adaptation

There is good news for fans of the video game Pac-Man. Bandai Namco Entertainment and Wayfarer Studios are developing a live-action film based on the classic arcade game. The adaptation will be based on an original idea from Chuck Williams who has previously worked on Sonic the Hedgehog.

Ryan Phillippe to star in Saint Clare

Ryan Phillippe is set to star in an upcoming thriller titled, Saint Clare, alongside Bella Thorne. Phillippe will essay the role of a police officer who is in-charge of investigating a series of murders in his town, with a teenage girl named Clare being the prime suspect. Based on Don Roff’s novel Clare at 16, the film is directed by Mitzi Peirone.

Eva Longoria and Carmen Maura to star in Land of Women

Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria and veteran Spanish actress Carmen Maura are set to headline the Apple TV+ dramedy series Land of Women. Based on Sandra Barneda’s novel of the same name, the series will feature Longoria and Maura as a mother-daughter duo. Ramón Campos will serve as the showrunner for the series.
